I have to echo Cally. We call it God Light!

Great Pic. My daughter, age 5 at the time, used to say, "Look, the Light of Heaven!" We lived in the UP for 8 years. It's been 25 years since we left and I still miss the natural beauty.

Beautiful shot..so this is why it's called, "God's Country"..

I have not been "home" to the U.P. very often over the years, but here in Colorado when I see Pikes Peak with this type of a view, this is what I see in my mind, this is the picture I take with me of "God's Country....thank you..
