Has any effort ever been made to place a memorial at the mass grave of Italian Hall Disaster victims? I was taken back by the limited number of markers when I visited the location a number of years back.

Glad you brought up the Italian Hall disaster Keith. I've been wanting to do some research about that event. I know it was about 1913 . Does anyone have the names of books or websites I could check out, please? Thanks.

"Cradle to Grave" and "Rebels on the Range" both have a fair amount of detail about the incident with cited resources. I picked up my copies at Copper World in Calumet. You can find a link to its site on the home page for Pasty.com.

There was recently an exhibit in the Omphale Gallery in Calumet full of photos from the disaster. Very impressive shots, and they tell the story through pictures very well.
