Any idea what kind of spider? I also have a pic of large spiders (same?) taken in north mqt. county.

I think it may be a wolf spider, I think I saw one next to the Yellow Dog river on a log in my youth.

I'd call it a wolf spider, too. We get these guys in the basement and kitchen in our house in Houghton during the summer. Man, are they scary!
